In today’s rapidly changing society, families with children who experience emotional disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), or other developmental challenges face increasing pressures and unique hurdles. To strengthen public understanding, enhance support for these families, and equip parents with practical and science-based parenting tools, we successfully hosted the Special Needs Family Support Conference 2025 this month.
The conference welcomed over 120 parents, educators, therapists, and community representatives, gathering together to explore how to better understand, accompany, and support special needs children in creating safer and more inclusive growth environments.
Conference Highlights: Expert Insight · Deep Learning · Cross-Sector Connection
1. Keynote Sessions: Understanding Children Through a Scientific Lens
Experts in psychology, child behavior, and special education shared professional insights into the underlying logic of emotional regulation difficulties and ASD-related behaviors, enabling parents to better understand how their children communicate.
2. Practical Workshops: Tools Parents Can Apply Immediately
Our interactive workshops covered:
- Daily emotional support techniques
- Communication strategies that build safety and trust
- Common behavior management approaches for children with ASD
- Practical methods to help children express needs and emotions
Parents shared that these tools were “finally something we can bring home and use right away.”
3. Parent Roundtable: A Space for Real Voices and Shared Experiences
The roundtable allowed parents to openly share their stories—many for the first time.
They spoke about their fears, challenges, exhaustion, and hopes.
This safe and supportive space reminded everyone:
“We are not alone.”
4. Resource Exhibition: Connecting Families to Professional Support
We invited various educational and therapeutic organizations to provide parents with:
- Learning resources
- Consultation and assessment services
- Community support programs
- Information on child development and special needs
For many families, this was the first time they clearly understood the full range of support available to them.

A Heartfelt Moment: When Parents’ Strength Was Truly Seen
Towards the end of the conference, we invited participants to write down
“the sentence that touched you the most today.”
The one that appeared again and again was:
“I thought I was the only one going through this.”
This was not a statement of helplessness,
but a powerful moment of relief—
a moment of finally being understood and seen.
It reminded all of us that:
Supporting parents is one of the most important ways to support children.
Many parents shared their reflections after the session:
“I finally understand my child’s world differently.”
“I realized I’ve been trying so hard—and I deserve support too.”
“For the first time, I feel like I know where to go from here.”
These heartfelt responses reflect the true purpose of this conference—
to remind parents they are not alone,
and to help families rediscover their strength.

Driving Social Change Begins with Supporting Families
The development of children with special needs is not only a family matter—it reflects a society’s level of inclusiveness and the wellbeing of its future.
Through this large-scale conference, our goals were to:
- Increase public understanding of emotional disorders and autism (ASD)
- Equip parents with practical, evidence-based tools and knowledge
- Build a cross-disciplinary support and collaboration network
- Create a more inclusive and supportive environment for special needs families
We firmly believe that when society listens, learns, and reaches out,
children can grow in a world that feels safer, warmer, and more accepting.
Looking Ahead: Continuing Our Mission Through Long-Term Programs
Inspired by the success of this event and the overwhelming positive feedback,
we will soon introduce a series of long-term support initiatives, including:
- Parent emotional management and stress coping courses
- Workshops on children’s emotional and behavior regulation
- ASD-focused professional training and educational seminars
- Support groups for families of children with special needs
- Collaborative programs with schools and partner organizations
We look forward to working alongside you—
to build a world where every child is understood, accepted, and supported in their growth.
